About Us

We aim to be the best and leading mobile safari company in the region. Monika Shapes Mobile Safaris was established to take advantage of the new statuary tourism regulations set by the government of Botswana to set aside some tourism enterprise license categories specifically for citizens only.

OUR VEHICLES

We have customized our safari vehicles with you in mind for optimal viewing with folding windshields. All vehicles have charging ports for for gadgets. Note that we also have charging stations on camp. The maximum capacity per vehicle is 9 but we only take 7 people per vehicle for maximum comfort.

OUR TENTS

When on safari, you are accommodated in sahara tents that have en-suit, open top bathroom and toilet extension with private facilities for each tent. Guests do not have to leave their tents at night to go to the bathroom. The bathroom consists of bucket shower and a short drop toilet, two wash basins, a mirror and towel rack. For beds, we use steel cot/stretcher bed, bed rolls with sheets, duvets, blankets in the winter and towels.

OUR CAMP AMENITIES 

Our camps have a large mess tent and that is where lunch and dinner is usually served.  It also have a bar selection of spirits, gin tonics, chilled wines and beer. There ia also a coffee/tea station.  Early breakfast usually served around the camp fire.

To complete the camp, there is a kitchen area, with its separate fire, cooking area as well as staff quarters. Meals are prepared in a separate kitchen tent with the baking and roasting done over open fire
