At Monika Shapes Mobile Safaris, we strive to provide unforgettable mobile safari experiences. Due to the nature of our operations (including advance bookings of permits, vehicle logistics, campsite reservations, and guide allocations), the following cancellation and refund terms apply strictly.
1. Deposit Requirement
- A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour amount is required to confirm any booking.
- This deposit secures your dates, accommodations, and safari logistics.
- The deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellation, rescheduling, or no-show.
2. Final Payment Deadline
- Full payment (remaining 70% of the total tour amount) must be received no later than 60 days before the tour start date.
- If final payment is not received by the due date, Monika Shapes Mobile Safaris reserves the right to treat the booking as canceled, and the 30% deposit will be forfeited.
3. Cancellation by Client & Refund Scale

Important notes:
- The “total tour amount” refers to the full agreed price of the safari package.
- Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 14 business days of the cancellation request and will be made via the original payment method.
4. No-Show Policy
- If you fail to join the tour at the designated departure point and time without prior notice, no refund will be issued (100% charge applies).
5. Cancellation by Monika Shapes Mobile Safaris
In the unlikely event that Monika Shapes Mobile Safaris must cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, park closures, safety risks, or government restrictions), you may choose either:
- A full refund of all amounts paid (including deposit), or
- Transfer to another available safari date (subject to availability).
We are not responsible for additional expenses incurred by you (e.g., flights, accommodation before/after the tour, visas) in the event of our cancellation.
6. Travel Insurance Recommendation
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:
- Trip cancellation or interruption (for any reason, including medical emergencies, family events, or travel delays).
- Medical evacuation and emergency care.
- Lost baggage or gear.
Travel insurance is the only way to recover costs beyond this policy in case of last‑minute cancellations.
7. How to Cancel a Booking
All cancellation requests must be by email. Please include your booking reference number, full name, and tour date. Cancellation is effective as of the date we receive your written notice.
